INDIANA PSYCHIATRIC SOCIETY
Welcome to the official website of the Indiana Psychiatric Society. We believe you will find it to be a useful source of information about psychiatry. In particular, it is designed to facilitate communication between and among members of the Indiana Psychiatric Society. And while our website is changing and growing, please be patient and visit often, as we endeavor to bring the most current and vital information about Indiana psychiatry to you through an improved and dynamic web site.
The Indiana Psychiatric Society (IPS) is one of the premiere district branches of the APA. Comprised of more than 350 Indiana psychiatrists representing all specialties from child to geriatric, IPS exists to provide continuing medical education, practice enhancement strategies, review of ethical matters, and legislative representation on behalf of Indiana psychiatrists so as to efficiently and effectively treat mental illness and promote mental health for the citizens of the state of Indiana.
Among us are psychiatrists influencing local and national legislation, psychiatrists sought for public speaking opportunities to review mental health issues, and psychiatrists conducting cutting-edge research to discover solutions to plaguing illnesses. Our doctors are committed to improving the lives of Indiana residents.
